CNC Turning Process Flow

Material Preparation

We will according to the drawings of the selected materials (such as aluminum alloy, steel, copper alloy), cutting, straightening and other pre-treatment. Special materials need to be annealed to improve cutting performance, connecting the Metal Fabrication Service pretreatment process.

Programming & Simulation

Write machining programs according to drawings, set up tool paths and cutting parameters. Check the paths by simulation software and refer to the experience of Precision Milling Service for optimization.

Workpiece Clamping

Secure material with fixtures such as chucks, centers, etc. to ensure accurate positioning. Parts with large aspect ratios need to be supported by tool holders to prevent deformation. The design concept can be combined with 5-Axis CNC Milling.

Trial Machining & Adjustment

Measure the dimensions after trial cutting and fine-tune the cutting parameters. After passing the test cut, the part will be put into mass production to reduce the risk of quality. The process is similar to the test cut of Laser Cutting Service.

 Batch Processing & Monitoring

In automatic batch processing, real-time monitoring of cutting status (sound, temperature, chip removal), and immediate treatment of abnormalities. The waste chips are recycled uniformly to meet the requirements of environmental protection.

 Final Inspection & Post-processing

Full inspection of dimensions, roughness and tolerances. Qualified parts are deburred, cleaned, partially plated or polished, and finally packaged and put into storage, the final inspection process echoes the CNC Milling Service.
