Product Description
This engine piston cylinder body is crafted from high-strength aluminum alloy 6061-T5, showcasing a uniform silver-white metallic luster. The surface has been precision-machined to achieve exceptional smoothness and fine texture. Structurally, it features four parallel cylindrical channels, each with an elliptical opening at the top and a flanged base equipped with threaded holes—ensuring secure and reliable integration with other engine components. Central reinforcement flanks and strategically designed heat-dissipation cracks enhance both structural integrity and thermal conductivity, optimizing performance under high-load conditions.
We employ a specialized Customized Aluminum Gravity Casting process to form the raw blank. Molten aluminum alloy 6061-T5 is poured into a precision sand mold, where gravity naturally shapes the four cylinder air ducts, heat dissipation flanks, and mounting seats in a single operation. This method ensures high dimensional accuracy and significantly reduces the need for post-processing.
First, a CNC lathe is used to meticulously mill the flange plane and interface end face, guaranteeing superior flatness and parallelism. Subsequently, a CNC machining center performs high-precision drilling, countersinking, and threading on the cylinder body’s bores and threaded holes. The internal cavity is precisely bored to optimize inner wall surface conduction, while positioning pin holes and bolt holes are machined with synchronized precision—ensuring flawless alignment and assembly accuracy across all components.
After machining, the parts undergo ultrasonic cleaning followed by manual inspection and cleaning. This dual-step process effectively removes residual debris, burrs, and machining impurities, ensuring a clean, safe surface that prevents operational interference within the engine system.
