For this product, we selected L1214 low-carbon steel with a standard diameter of Φ22 as cold-drawn bright bar material. Relying on Precision CNC Turning Services, the "TSUGAMI CCRP" high-precision CNC turning center was utilized for machining. Since this material is easy-to-machine low-carbon steel, the roughing speed was set at 3,500 rpm, with a 0.2mm allowance reserved to ensure accuracy. For the finishing process, the spindle speed was increased to 4,500 rpm, paired with Mitsubishi ceramic inserts and tools featuring a 0.2mm corner radius, achieving a surface finish of R0.8 effortlessly.  During the machining process, after turning one end of the external step, the workpiece was cut off and automatically gripped by the sub-spindle for further processing of the threaded end—metric M101.25 standard fine thread (thread angle 60°). Specialized forming tools were required for machining, and all threads were inspected with M101.25 measuring tools to ensure dimensional uniformity.
